Description

Arrows and circles—classic design motifs used throughout antiquity in textiles, rugs, pottery, and stone carving–combine to create a striking and intricate compass design. Each compass is then alternated in a “half drop” arrangement common to many historic textiles. This compelling all over design is worked in a restrained color palette of black, terra cotta, and golden olive and makes a beautiful small mat that will lend a little bit of history to any décor!
