Description

In ancient Greek, chloris meant “green buds” and this beautiful repeating design is make up of little flower buds outlined in green. Folk embroidery designs often utilize negative space and this design is a wonderful example with its little buds created out of the negative space set within a diamond lattice. True to its name, it is worked in a lovely shade of blue-green outlined in deep grey green.
